Mom's picking up leaves today so I'm doing the "hang around online and blare music" thing. I woke up at a little after 10:00 this morning. I fully meant to go back to sleep but I decided to read some and ended up staying awake to finish my book.
WONDERFUL book and a great ending to the trilogy. It made me cry and not many books make me cry. If you're into romantic fantasy I highly recommend you get this trilogy. The other two books are Morrigan's Cross and Dance of the Gods. Both are equally as good.
I didn't watch Jericho last night but I did tape it. I took some Benadryl and it totally knocked me out and I crashed from a little after 4:00 until 10:00. I swear, that stuff's my Kryptonite. It can knock me on my butt faster than anything.
I think I'm going to go play some more of this game I downloaded the other day.
What's the most drastic change you've ever made to your appearance?

When I cut my hair really short, and when I had it streaked.
I am so glad that elections are over. I hate politics and I can't stand election years. All the stupid mud slinging commercials every five seconds and the little signs everywhere. Ugh. I'm registered to vote but I don't. It doesn't matter how you vote, nothing ever changes.
I'm just glad it's over.
And on a related note...
I think our lieutenant governor looks like Jeff Gordon. :-P
Windows, Mac, Linux - What's your preference and why?

I've used Windows the most. I used Macs way back when I was in elementary school. So I guess I prefer Windows since that's the only one I've really used a lot
At least it felt like it last night. It was 33 when we got home from work. I was warm though because I wore a cape/poncho that belonged to my great-aunt who passed away earlier this year. It's great and warm and has a great fuzzy color that keeps my neck all toasty.
I'm not looking forward to tonight. The papers are huge and something is wrong with my right had which is going to make manuvering the gigantic things a pain (literally!). They'll be huge like this until after Christmas.
I've been taking pictures of the beautiful trees around here and I'd thought I'd post some of them here...
The first two were taken along SC 123 heading towards Easley. The last one was is of a Firebush. The turn the most lovely shades of red.
Well, I think I'd better run now. I think I'm going to try to grab a nap before work.
How did you pick your Vox name? Does it mean something?

I was trying to think of a new name for my LiveJournal and LibertyBelle just popped into my head. I live in a town called Liberty and I'm a southern belle. :-)
It's November 2nd and I'm sitting here listening to Christmas music. I'm getting a little ahead of myself I know but I love Christmas and Christmas music. I predict that at least one of the local radio stations will switch over to an all Christmas format before Thanksgiving and maybe within the next two weeks. They did last year anyway.
And now I must get dressed for work. Yay. :-)
What is your favorite scent?

It would have to be honeysuckle. I love to walk out of the house at night in the early summer and smell the honeysuckle.
Thankfully I'm feeling much better. Being sick wiped me out though, we went to Wal-Mart and I'm so tired now. My arms feel all weak and shakey from pushing my wheelchair around. But I did get a lot of good stuff.
Before we left I got the stuff I ordered from Bath and Body Works the other day. I got Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin body splash and Temptations 3-in-1 Pecan Passion. It smells SOOO good! I wish I had gotten the lotion too.
At Wal-Mart I got two Sauve Limited Editions Seasonal body washes, Whipped Cocoa and Buttercreme Swirl, a Calgon Limited Edition body mist in Almond Cookie, a sampler pack of 4 Calgon body mists-Cocoa Bliss, Coconut Sorbet, Vanilla Swirl and Pear Caramel, two Nora Roberts books-Valley of Silence and A Little Fate, a Glade 2-in-1 candle and a bag of Andes Candies.
Now I think I'm going to play a game for a while until time for dinner.
I think it's been hot just about everywhere. I keep leaving the air on at night and waking up at... read more
