Soda? Cola? Pop? What do you say? Any other regional words that set you apart?
Question submitted by Gladys.
Well, most people here either say drink or Coke. I call it soda. I don't know why, it's just something I picked up.
What was the highlight of this past weekend?
Dang, I don't know. Nothing really outstanding happened this weekend. I guess the highlight of the weekend was that it was calm and boring.
What's the most extreme weather you've been in? A memorable storm? Heat wave? Or something else?
Well, once my mom and I were caught in a tornado in our car. We were driving home from my granmother's and the sky turned green! It started raining really hard and we pulled over at a little convenience store to wait. The wind was blowing so hard it was rocking the car back and forth and I was sure we were going to flip over. After the storm was over we could see that a tree had fallen about 50 yards from us. Scary stuff.
We also had a bad ice storm last year. There were trees down everywhere and most of the Upstate was without power for several days.
What's your favorite drink or cocktail? What's in it?
Question submitted by charm.vox.com
I love Long Island Iced Tea, Whiskey Sour, and Margaritas. I don't know what's in them besides the kind of alcohol, all I know is I like them! *LOL*
What's one thing that you hope to do or accomplish before the end of this year?
I want to stop overeating and manage to lose at least 15 pounds.
Jammy was right, Dice City Roller is totally addicting. I'm still trying to get enough points for a jackpot spin and so far no go. I think I'm going to try the no auction version next.
It should not be as hot as it is in the middle of the night! I was sweating my ass off out on the route tonight. Ugh! And for some reason the seat I sit in gets really hot so I spend half the time with my ass baking.
Fall can't get here soon enough for me!
Who is your favorite Muppet? Why?
QotD submitted by knitwitology.vox.com.
My favorite Muppet is Miss Piggy. She's a total diva who knows what she wants (Kermit) and will stop at nothing to get it!
Well, so far Vox looks pretty neat. I need to keep looking around and get the hang of everything. Thanks to Dawna for the invite!
