What do you like to make or order for brunch?

I usually like traditional breakfast foods for brunch, but I also like more elegant (at least to me) things like fruit filled pancakes, waffles and french toast.

I love the weather we're having today. It's 62 degrees and cloudy. I love cool, cloudy weather. It's perfect for curling up in bed with a good book or having a lovely long nap. I'm planning on heading to my room in a few and reading a bit and maybe working on some of my looming projects. I have six projects going right now. ACK! I really need to get some of them finished. I've got three hats going, a scarf, a dishcloth and a wrap/shawl. The wrap/shawl is going to take me the longest because I'm doing it on a board and I haven't worked with boards before and they take a little longer to work with. I just hope I get it done before winter's over. :-)

I've spent entirely too much time sitting here at the compy today (or yesterday *LOL*). My neck and shoulders are killing me. :-P

But it did make me feel better to hear that DX won at Unforgiven tonight. And this picture makes me smile.

Awww!

I've been sitting here at the compy ever since I got up, which means 5 hours and counting. It's too hot to go in my room so I've been sitting here updating my TCG pages and listening to music. My right arm is killing me. I sure will be glad when the sun sets and my room cools off.

What's your favorite foreign accent?

Irish, without a doubt. I would listen to Colin Farrell read the Atlanta phonebook. :-)

Well, most people here either say drink or Coke. I call it soda. I don't know why, it's just something I picked up.

What was the highlight of this past weekend?

Dang, I don't know. Nothing really outstanding happened this weekend. I guess the highlight of the weekend was that it was calm and boring.

What's the most extreme weather you've been in? A memorable storm? Heat wave? Or something else?

Well, once my mom and I were caught in a tornado in our car. We were driving home from my granmother's and the sky turned green! It started raining really hard and we pulled over at a little convenience store to wait. The wind was blowing so hard it was rocking the car back and forth and I was sure we were going to flip over. After the storm was over we could see that a tree had fallen about 50 yards from us. Scary stuff.

We also had a bad ice storm last year. There were trees down everywhere and most of the Upstate was without power for several days.

What's your favorite drink or cocktail? What's in it?

I love Long Island Iced Tea, Whiskey Sour, and Margaritas. I don't know what's in them besides the kind of alcohol, all I know is I like them! *LOL*

What's one thing that you hope to do or accomplish before the end of this year?

I want to stop overeating and manage to lose at least 15 pounds.
